Nuxe (leading French beauty brand)

Brief: Transcreate and translate marketing content for Nuxe’s fragrance and skincare collections (websites, packaging, product names, social media posts, press releases, etc.).

Target audience is women aged 20–40 who live and work in stressful, urban environments and who are looking to regain their glow. Tone of voice should be sophisticated, efficient and effective, with a touch of freshness (natural, sensual textures).

Result: My translations enabled several international launches of new products, allowing the client to expand their portfolio and promote their products to a global audience. Campaigns resulted in increased sales and strengthened customer loyalty. Collaborated for seven years.

Brief: Translate the Museum’s website and visitor audio guide, including detailed information about the collections and their historical contexts, as well as details of upcoming exhibitions, sponsorship programmes and visitor information. Target audience is curious people from all walks of life. Tone of voice should be informative, clear and avoid sounding patronising.

Result: Helped the client offer their English-speaking visitors a warm welcome, both in person and online, and provide them with the language resources audiences expect when visiting a prestigious museum in the heart of Vienna. Ensured that the translation worked within the physical setting – e.g. that directions, references to doorways, artworks, etc., made sense in the real-world context. Collaborating for two years.

Target audience is fashion buyers and exhibitors with a focus on both luxury and edgy brands. Tone of voice should be dynamic, sophisticated, informed.

Result: Raised the profile of the various trade shows, allowing the brands to communicate across cultures to a global audience and increase footfall to the shows. Collaborated for eight years.

The free test translation is offered exclusively on a case-by-case basis where I judge that you are genuinely interested in ongoing collaboration. This service is for new clients only and is limited to one free translation per client.

You can submit a text of up to 300 words for translation free of charge. We will discuss the details in advance and, if I agree to offer you a free translation, I reserve all corresponding rights – this means you only have access to the free translation for the purposes of evaluating my skills as a translator; you are not authorised to use, modify, reproduce, upload, record, or distribute any part of the free translation without my express written permission.

Of course, if you are pleased with the translation and wish to purchase it for use in your business materials, this is easily arranged.
